The Ten Commandments Of A Real Democracy

2014-11-05 06:51

The Lord thy God hast delivered thee from the merciless grips of slavery, servitude and oppression, and has given thee a vast and fertile land for thine dwelling and inheritance. The following are the ten basic commandments which thou art to understand, observe and cherish for thine own benefit, for thee and thy descendants after thee:

1. Thou shalt spend all thy days in office as an honourable servant of the nation which elected thee to power. Thou art not to fill thine private pockets with public funds and property, nor accept nor offer bribes in secret while in office. Thou shalt use the time at hand to outperform even thy predecessors through honesty, integrity and excellence, on behalf of the people.

2. Thou shalt have one wife preferably, but where all parties agree on a polygamous marriage, the State is to comply and make provision for such an union to be lawful. Thou shalt appreciate and honour the holy and blessed union of marriage, and shalt not perverse nor bring it to disrepute, for this is the building block of society.

3. Thou do not own the spirits of thine children, but art entrusted through natural laws to be but loving guardians in their growth. Thou shalt not inhibit them, but shalt guide them with love and inspiration. Where thou art not sure, thou shalt consult the assistance of an expert, rather than mislead the child through vain pride.

4. Thou art to love and cherish one another as a Godly nation, and art to abhor all manner of obscenity and injustice. Thou art to be exemplary citizens both domestically and publicly, and art at all times to duly practice the democratic laws of the land the Lord thy God has given thee for a permanent inheritance.

5. Though art to work as a community in order to fulfil the objectives of thine conception, which thou publicised much and paraded to the Nations as ideal and truthful. Therefore, thou art not to swindle one another over payments, and neither is one to manipulate another’s labour but not pay them their just due. The rights of all citizens art to be practiced and not idealised only on paper.

6. Thou shalt provide opportunity for all without regard to race, gender and religion. Where there is lack of opportunity, thou shalt dedicate resources and manpower as an emergency, and possibly might be forced to suspend certain expenditure which is termed non – essential, so to invest in the region which is disadvantaged.

7. Thou art to abide by the legislated laws which are upright and fair, and through provided means art to challenge and work to change those which thou considers as prejudiced. The law and its mechanisms shalt be taught to all as fundamentals, and should not be mysterious and out of the reach of the common people.

8. Where the law has been compromised, and thou findest thyself under tyrannical rule, thou art to form a strong union and work as a community to unseat the oppressors at hand. Thou art to make thine displeasure visible, and where necessary, thou shalt be tactical and militant in thine unyielding struggle for a true Democracy.

9. Thou art to foster a spirit of productivity and innovation in the society, and art to provide solutions without excuses and explanations as appointed leaders. Thou art to involve the community in the appropriate and sustainable structuring of the Community, from housing to education to the entire work force.

10. Thou art to honour and defend thine sovereignty as a nation, and art likewise to respect and honour the sovereignty of thine neighbouring Nations the world over. Thou art advised to form non-binding multilateral relations with thine neighbouring Nations where thou sees fit, but thou art not to partake in any unconstitutional transactions which may yield harm to thine people or those of the Nation(s) in question.

I beseech thee to honour these laws and commandments therefore, that the days the Lord has granted thee might be long and prosperous, and so that unspeakable calamities shalt not befall thee as consequence for thy corrupt ways and insubordination.

Although thou hast previously built thyself a reputation as a stubborn nation, hard of hearing, the spirit of the Lord shalt guide thee into all manner of righteousness, and thou shalt be relieved of thine iniquities.
