We Can't Afford A Civil War, Mr President...

2014-03-28 09:16

You know you really messed up when among a pile of charges against you they mention ‘Defeating the ends of justice’. And all this happens beside the blistering and outrageous composure of former president Thabo Mbeki.

By the time you draw a thirsty recorder to His Excellency’s mouth there is an equal opposite reaction in the form of ‘No Comment’. How in hell can someone as involved as Thabo Mbeki reserve a comment when our State is literally falling apart through corruption and horrendous extra-judicial activity?

Why would a man building a bright future for us ironically be constructing bunkers at his legendary compound? Maybe the president knows something the common folk don’t. Maybe there’s a looming war of some sort us everyday people can’t forecast, because we are so busy trying to keep up with all these ruthless price hike wars.

It’s not much of a secret that our government has not been very effective in regulating prices relative to official inflation rates. Mind you we have very capable price regulators and a very effective public protector. At this rate we might need a million Thuli Madonselas, who can neither get bribed nor intimidated.

What if we had advanced cyborg technology and we could really manufacture a million Thuli Madonsela cyborgs, with full legislative privileges to administer investigative, judicial and martial law across the republic? There would be absolutely no crime left in the streets of South Africa. Neither would there be anyone left equally.

South Africa has always been credited as a country that miraculously transformed from Colonialism to Democracy without a Civil War. That’s if you don’t count all the thousands of people who’ve been murdered by/through White Forces between 1652 and 1994. Since it has become violently clear that our freedom was mythological, the range becomes now between 1652 and present (2014).

This technically means a real civil war could still break out, but not all of us can afford to build secure bomb shelters. I think this country has just experienced too much bloodshed to still sink into another abyss inflicted by greedy custodians of a staged liberation. I’ve seen too many people who have suffered too much as a result of Apartheid, and too many promising young faces who don’t deserve any of this archaic antagonism imposed by Western Powers.

The ANC cannot claim credit for the simmering spirit of anarchy in the rainbow pot because they are purely obedient subsidiaries of Cyber Age Totalitarianism.

When I discussed with my cousin the probable cause for a man to betray the struggle of his people and all upright ideals, he said ‘power and money’. Again I asked a friend what had happened with our liberation struggle’s principles of unity and prosperity. Similarly, he matter-of-factly implicated greed and power.

Either Mandela and his cohorts cooperated or they became enemies of the West therefore. In co-operating with the West, their own brothers became their enemies consequently. These they would have to sacrifice in their show of allegiance and loyalty.

The ANC leadership therefore knew they would eventually come to assume authority, or what appears as such anyway. Socialism and Nationalism would be abhorred in favour of what they call the Free Market Enterprise. Faced with the non-yielding aggression of the West, they chose not to fight but to comply for positions and co-rule with ‘The Beast’.

This was a costly mistake whose consequences are borne daily by the disregarded black majority. The ANC has put itself so much in tune with the West that none other than the IMF cannot wait for them to implement their National Development Plan. By now I know whatever is verified and approved by IMF has nothing good to do with my welfare at all.

Seeing now as the truth unfolds, South Africa is being driven into debt and disarray for the ultimate benefit of centralized international management. More and more insidious norms are imposed by corrupt self-serving rulers who I don’t doubt will not stick around should all hell break loose. Protests would multiply and armies would be dispatched, with more efficient International derivatives being heaved in as unrests spread.

That’s probably what Mr Jacob Zuma was anticipating when he decided to have a bunker constructed at his estate in Nkandla. But not in my [and yours] watch I say. This country cannot be allowed to descend into systematized anarchy by debased lunatics while upright citizens stand aside and stare. ©
