YOUNG, Is the new Successful.

2014-10-02 13:23

As a young person, I strive towards becoming successful and sort for inspiration in every possible avenue. Thursday night, was no different as I watched SABC 3’s Win a Home show. What became alarmingly clear was that majority of the people involved, were under 40. From Simon Bray, COO of Private Property, to the various interior designers at 100% Design South Africa, the number of successful young people in South Africa is quite ground breaking.

On a global stage, the likes of Mark Zuckerberg and other tech savvy entrepreneurs are staggering. The focus has shifted from waiting on getting employed and saving for retirement, to becoming successful in the next 2-3 years. The world economy has proven to be unstable, and many young people have witnessed their loved ones being retrenched. Yet, young people have opted to take up the responsibility to innovatively help their families.

The main gateway being entrepreneurship, and in South Africa, job shortage for graduates, has become such a growing problem. With that being said, it is refreshing to see, the likes of JT Foxx making a big impact in our country. JT Foxx  who is the world’s number one wealth coach has established himself, as starting and partnering up with businesses to make them an overwhelming success.

He has partnered with the likes of Mike Eilertsen, a South African serial entrepreneur on VAULTLife.com which is a business that provides once in a lifetime experiences for its clientele.  This is one of the many great works supported by JT Foxx.

I have been to many seminars promoting, wealth and success, but what makes, the JT Foxx brand stand out, is the focus on people.  Majority of his events, are free and in locations that are easily accessible to the youth.  These events a many other approachable multi-millionaires that share strategies and resources for success.  As a young person, it is a great place to be, because you network with industry heavy weights and leave with an action plan.

The most impactful part is seeing the South African success stories at these events that take your breath away.  I had the opportunity to meet Bruno Schwalbach, a 23 year old who is a property investor and running two other successful companies. Another, example of greatness is the 23 year old Nakedi Nkoana, who has her own interior design company making big waves in Pretoria. Also, Adeline Ngango,  a property investor in the heart of Gauteng.

The youth of today, have every opportunity to become successful with determination and innovation. The world has changed and we can no longer expect a job to provide wealth for us. It is up to every individual to find their entrepreneurial spirit and run with it.
