Sally* has been self-conscious about her legs for years. The sides of her calves are mottled with unsightly, gnarly protrusions that prevent her from showing off her legs in summer. 

“My varicose veins really started standing out after I had my babies,” she says. “They don’t hurt, but they’re not pretty and it means I can’t wear shorts or dresses in public and I feel embarrassed in a swimming costume. And it seems they run in the family.”

“My mom had them,” Sally (55) tells YOU. “And my grandfather’s veins were so pronounced you could see the outline of them through his thick, long socks.”
