The British five-piece, consisting of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, were formed on The X Factor UK in 2010 and have gone on to enjoy worldwide success. Fans all over the globe splash the cash to buy items with the boys' faces on. But when confronted with a pair of socks and a bag from their range during a recent interview, the band realised it might be time to take some new snaps. "We need to update these photos lads; we're talking baby photos here," Liam laughed to TV show Good Morning Britain, while inspecting the goods.

Things have certainly moved on since One Direction scored their first hit with What Makes You Beautiful in 2011. They are in the process of promoting their fourth album, the aptly titled Four, and insist it's nothing like their previous records.
"This is the one we're most proud of," Harry explained. "We feel like we've got better songs this time."
Zayn added: "It's a progression, which is a nice word to go to."
Four features tracks Stockholm Syndrome and No Control, which seem like dark titles. But the boys insist it's not a reflection of how they feel about fame.
"No Control is really upbeat - and so is Stockholm actually!" they all proclaimed, with Louis laughing: "We are very defensive aren't we!"
Four is due for release on November 17.
