5 songs, 5 days

Music is a powerful thing. The right song, played at the right time of the day, will make your spirit soar, leaving you smiling and feeling great! The wrong song has the opposite effect. We’ve all heard the wrong song. That pop hit played to death on the radio. The latest rap song blaring from some kid on the street’s cellphone. My goal with this new blog is to help you choose the right songs for your week. Think of me as your Jamie Oliver – he’s really good at showing you how to whip up a quick dinner for your family with as little fuss as possible . . . I’ll do the same for you with music, but without Jamie’s pommy accent.

Monday: Money Money Money by ABBA

The start of a new week after payday, if you’re one of those who gets paid on the 25th of the month. And that’s always worth celebrating. You can’t help but have the extra spring in your step. Nothing better than ABBA’s Money Money Money. The song became a No 1 chart hit in Australia Belgium, France, The Netherlands, Mexico and New Zealand in 1976.
