Amal Clooney has a “devastating sense of humour” it has been reported.
The British lawyer married Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney in a lavish ceremony in Venice, Italy last month. The 36-year-old has striking looks to match her supreme intelligence but it seems that Oceans Eleven star George could have been drawn to another side of his new wife. “She has a devastating sense of humour," a close family member told People magazine. The 53-year-old actor is well-known for his joking nature and playing pranks on his co-stars and it seems his spouse can keep up with him in the humour stakes. But the relative was quick to point out some of the other attributes that will have won the former bachelor’s heart

The beauty comes from a Lebanese family and is aunt to her sister Tala's children, niece Mia, 12, and six-year-old twin nephews Jad and Sari.
When it comes to her career, however, it’s a totally different ball game.
“She's supremely self-confident," said William Schabas, a law professor at Middlesex University in London, who knows Amal professionally.
Amal is currently in Greece dealing with one of the world's longest-standing cultural property disputes. The case, which centres on a collection of Greek masterpieces known as the Elgin Marbles or the Parthenon Marbles, is particularly complex.
“[It]is very difficult and shows that she is not shying away from controversy," a legal source added to the publication. "She is picking up where the honeymoon temporarily left off. She is back with a vengeance."
