The Oscar-winning Hollywood star is behind the dramatic film, directing lead Jack O'Connell as World War II prisoner Louis Zamperini.
For the event in London, UK, Angelina selected a stunning Ralph & Russo Couture dress, which featured a gorgeous cape top. The rest of the design was fitted, finishing at a midi length in a pencil-skirt style.
It might all have looked very demure from the front, but fans were reminded of the famous Angelina leg bomb from the 2012 Oscars when she turned to the side. The white frock featured a split up to her thigh at the back and a cute tie finish.
'She is perfect as is, elegant in a natural way'
Her elegant look was finished off with a slick ponytail hairdo, small gold hoop earrings and nude heels.
On the cape top, the 39-year-old wore a small, jewelled poppy flower brooch as a mark of respect to soldiers. Throughout the night the star also posed on the red carpet, surrounded by servicemen.
It's no wonder designers clamour to dress Angelina for big event. Recently, Giorgio Armani revealed what he loves about the actress.
"Angelina has a magnetic sensuality," he gushed to refinery29.com. "She has a limber and athletic body... she is perfect as is, elegant in a natural way."
Also at last night's event was Angelina's protégée Jack, who looked smart in a grey Burberry suit. It was a far cry from his first big role in UK show Skins, where he played a scruffy, bad-boy teenager.
