'Beast mode!' This video of a nine-year-old rugby player is sending the internet into overdrive

"Beast mode!"

This is how viewers are describing the popular video of a little rugby player who crashes through one player after another to score a try. The video has been viewed more than four million times on Facebook.

Nine-year-old* Meaalofa Te’o of Canberra in Australia was caught on camera during a league match, but not everyone is impressed with the young player’s performance.

“There is nothing impressive about this video,” wrote one person on Facebook. “These kids aren't learning anything but to pass to the big kid.”

Another wrote that the video proved that there should be weight divisions in sport and that children like Meaalofa 'n have an unfair advantage over smaller players.

His mother said in an interview with onderhoud Buzzfeed News that he has already played in leagues with older children and did just as well there. “He’s not aware of the big fuss. All he knows is that he’s having fun.”

Other remarked online that Meaalofa’s rugby prowess is not just as a result of his size but also because he’s fast, moves quickly around other players, changes hands and balances himself.
