The songstress and her husband Jay Z spent the summer on their On The Run Tour, which finished in Paris in September. Afterwards they stayed in France for a while, with Beyoncé apparently the driving force behind the break. The couple have battled rumours about their relationship since her sister Solange was caught on camera kicking Jay in an elevator, with Beyoncé said to be concerned that real life might take its toll on them. "Jay was desperate to get back to New York. Bey was dragging her feet about it for a long time. She kept on finding reasons to stay away, like house hunting in Paris, but eventually they had to come home and now she seems to be freaking out over it. She sometimes feels like if she's not there by Jay's side all the time, she's not in control," an insider told British magazine Heat.
‘Jay was desperate to get back to New York’
One of Beyonce's biggest worries is that the speculation about her marriage will intensify. She believes this will happen as she and her rapper spouse spend more time apart, working on their solo projects.
"Bey had life her own way for the whole summer, and she and Jay were constantly together, so she didn't need to worry about people making up stories about him having affairs and cheating. But now she's back, she's worried the old patterns will start repeating themselves," the source said.
Jay was desperate to get back to New York. Bey was dragging her feet about it for a long time. "That's why friends and family were so worried; because they knew their bliss couldn't continue and that spending all their time together was a short-term solution. Now they're back home, it's like it's falling apart," the insider sighed.
