Bill Murray “couldn’t be happier” George Clooney has found the love of his life.
The 53-year-old Monuments Men actor tied the knot with human rights barrister Amal Alamuddin in Italy on September 27 and Bill was in attendance at the lavish ceremony. The 64-year-old Groundhog Day actor had a great time at the affair and he is elated George, who was once known as a notorious ladies’ man, has finally settled down. “It was a bunch of people that were their friends and their family and you couldn’t be happier for anyone. I don’t think I’ve been that happy for anyone in a very, very long time,” Bill told ET Online at the premiere of his new film St. Vincent.

The Ghostbusters star thinks he knows why Amal is ‘the one’ for George.
Bill attributes the attorney’s wit and charms to having won the actor over.
“She’s a very big hearted person, believes [in] so much of what George does, and she’s funny,” he noted.
Bill is still revelling over George and Amal’s recent union.
And he is deeply appreciative of the delicious memento he took home from the couple’s wedding.
“I've got a very nice giant square of St Marks chocolate that cracked in half,” Bill admitted. “Like a traditional Italian gift, it's cracked in half.”
George and Amal tied the knot at the seven star Aman Canal Grande Hotel, with Rome's former mayor Walter Veltroni – a good friend of the actor – presiding over the ceremony. Among the 90 guests were Bill, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, Bono, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
