The 27-year-old Gossip Girl favourite and her actor husband announced on October 6 that they’re expecting their first child together. But they want to wait until the day Blake gives birth to find out whether it’s a boy or a girl.
'They want to be surprised'
"Blake and Ryan aren’t finding out what they’re having," an insider told Us Weekly. "They want to be surprised!"
And it seems Blake is dealing well with her very first time carrying a baby. She is reportedly remaining stress free as she prepares for the arrival of their little one.
"She is [feeling] super relaxed and mellow," the source added.
The blonde beauty told the world she was pregnant via her lifestyle blog. She has since been seen showing off her maternity style and joking she’s keeping things very practical.
“Have you seen me?!” Blake laughed to People magazine recently when asked about her baby bump. “I’m going to amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier, because that’s all that fits!”
She and Ryan, 38, have been married for two years now. Prior to that, the actress dated Leonardo DiCaprio as well as Penn Badgley. She met Ryan when they filmed The Green Lantern together, which was while he was married to Scarlett Johansson.
Blake recently raved about her relationship with the Two Guys and a Girl actor, praising the way he treats her.
"He’s always good to me," she told Us Weekly. "That’s like a jerky thing to say because you want to be able to complain about your husband and be that person, but he takes pretty good care of me."
