Brangelina split: 'How Jen feels'

Chances are Jen Aniston is probably the first person that popped into your head when you heard Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were calling time on their 11-year relationship.

Brad's ex-wife -- whom he divorced in 2005 soon after meeting Angelina on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith -- is now happily married to Leftover heartthrob Justin Theroux.

It seems likely that Jen's going to want to be "kept out of this divorce narrative" -- even though US tabloid Us Weekly supposedly has comment from a source close to the star.

UPDATE: Holding hands and loving looks: Brad and Angie put on a united front in their last interview together

"Yeah, that’s karma for you!" Jen supposedly said while discussing the drama with a "longtime pal".

"She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually."

"She didn’t feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with. She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He’s a pretty simple guy."

Interpret that as you will, but it seems unlikely that Jen would have a "longtime pal" who would be quite happy to talk to the gossip mag shortly after discussing Brangelina's imploding marriage with Jen over mimosas. But we digress.

So, while Jen is probably unlikely to weigh in on the issue for several years (she only opened up about her divorce from Brad a DECADE after they split) -- but the internet has other ideas. Soon after the shocking news broke, gifs, memes and Jen jokes flooded the Twitterverse and other social media. Here are but a few of the plethora of #TeamJen posts -- and they'll probably make you giggle in spite of yourself.
