But this innovative woman seems to have found the perfect solution.

The witty bride, from Saint Paul in Minnesota, in the US, took to social media to share pictures with not-so-subtle hints of her favourite rings in the background, The Sun reports.

“I need to get my nails doneeee,” she captioned her first post – a picture of her nails, cleverly held in front of an open web browser displaying her favourite ring.

In the second picture, she holds her phone’s charging cable up in front of the same jeweller’s web page, with a similar-looking ring on display.

“I need to bring this with me everywhere,” she writes, ostensibly referring to the charging cable.

Eventually, the groom, Billy Yang, posted a picture on his Facebook profile – of his now-fiancé’s hand sporting the ring she’d been hinting at.

“When she gives you hints, take them,” he captioned the post.

After the post was shared on a meme-sharing page on Facebook, several people commented on the bride’s ingenuity.

“Dang got her nails done toooo, man of the year,” one person commented.

“I’m gonna try this,” another wrote.
