The British royal family are reportedly fully prepared for the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child.
William and Kate are expected to welcome their baby into the world this month, and staff at Buckingham Palace are said to be at the ready.
An insider told Us Weekly, "[The palace staff is] on call every day and night in July for this. There is nothing left to prepare or plan for."
There is a strict plan in place so nothing is left uncertain from the moment Kate feels her first contraction.
Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, her private secretary, will inform her doctor Marcus Setchell on a mobile phone provided by the palace.
The source added, "It's an encrypted signal. So there's no way anyone can intercept it."
The duchess will be driven to a side entrance of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, to avoid the press before being taken to a suite in the fourth-floor Lindo Wing.
The room was cleaned and sealed off at the beginning of the month and has since been monitored by security every day.
With the birth imminent, even Britain's reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, is becoming anxious.
Asked if she’d prefer a boy or a girl, she recently said, "I don't think I mind but I would very much like it to arrive because I'm going on holiday soon."
