Britney Spears has hinted she’s rehearsing for a "top-secret" new video.
The star revealed she was practising for the mystery project ? due to happen "next week" ? but didn't confirm what the rehearsals were actually for.
She wrote on Twitter, "Taking a quick break to say hi to all my tweeps :) Rehearsing for something top secret happening next week . . . #WERK"
When a fan responded speculating it could be a video for a new single, Britney simply replied with a wink.
The Hold It Against Me singer's new album ? the follow-up to 2011's Femme Fatale ? will be produced by British record producer Naughty Boy (real name Shahid Khan) and it’s expected the first single could be released next month.
A countdown clock ? captioned All Eyes on Me ? appeared on her website promising a big announcement on 17 September ? with many speculating it could be the first song from the record, although it could be details of her eighth full-length album.
Naughty Boy has been trying to expand Britney's influences for the album, with reports suggesting he wants to take her to the Lake District ? England's largest national park ? for inspiration.
A source previously said, "He's planning to take Britney on a tour. They'll be holed up at his studio in Ealing for most of the time but he wants to weave in a visit to the Lake District. He loves it there."
