Cameron plays cupid for Gwyneth

Cameron Diaz reportedly thinks Gwyneth Paltrow needs a younger man. The Sex Tape actress (42) is currently in a happy relationship with Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, who is seven years her junior at 35. And Cameron is so satisfied in her romance she’s said to have told Gwyneth she should find herself a toyboy following her split from Chris Martin (37) earlier this year.

'Cameron thinks Gwyn should follow her lead and go for a young, hunky guy and that she needs to put herself out there on the dating scene in a big way'

“Cameron thinks Gwyn should follow her lead and go for a young, hunky guy and that she needs to put herself out there on the dating scene in a big way,” a source told America’s OK! Magazine.

Cameron is also said to have told her pal she needs to distance herself from her Coldplay frontman ex, with whom she still has a close friendship.

According to reports, Gwyneth’s connection with Chris has already put off several potential suitors.

“All the guys she’s been with have been turned off by how close she still is with Chris, and Cameron’s told her the whole ‘conscious uncoupling’ act has gotten old now,” the source added. “Cameron says it’s over and Gwyneth needs to show the world she’s moving on.”

Chris’ relationship with 24-year-old Jennifer Lawrence is also allegedly prompting Gwyneth to seek comfort in the arms of a younger man.

However, Gwyneth, who is mother to daughter Apple, nine, and eight-year-old Moses with Chris, is said to be more interested in a short-term relationship than anything long-term.

“Gwyneth’s had her share of rebounds but unlike Chris, who’s head over heels with Jennifer, she’s had a tough time committing to anything beyond a fling,” the source said.
