Benji Madden reportedly “hates” girlfriend Cameron Diaz’s diet.

The 35-year-old Good Charlotte rocker has been in a happy relationship with the 42-year-old Sex Tape actress since May of this year. Apparently Cameron is keen to get Benji into good shape, but he is said to be loathing his new dietary restrictions. “She wants him to live a much healthier lifestyle,” a source told America’s OK! magazine. “She’s got him a trainer and put him on a gluten-free diet. [He] hates it.”

Despite his dislike, it’s claimed Benji is happy with his physical transformation.

The star has supposedly been looking much more vigorous of late.

“[He’s] starting to look better,” the source noted. “The bags under his eyes are going and he’s managed to lose 5lbs already.”

Although he appears fitter than before, Benji’s main source of consternation is said to stem from not being able to eat his “beloved burgers” anymore.

“[Cameron] has banned him from indulging in his favourite junk food,” the insider said. “It’s a huge adjustment for him as he loves his burgers when he’s recording in the studio, but he loves Cameron more.”

It’s claimed the couple moved in together several months ago.

However, Cameron purportedly experienced tense moments with Benji over the summer because of his lack of domestic skills.

“She was screaming about what a pig he is,” a source told America’s OK! previously.

“Cameron calmed down, and Benji promised to help out more with the housekeeping. They got over it pretty quickly.”

The couple were introduced by Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel.

Although they aren't rushing down the aisle just yet, Cameron and Benji apparently couldn't be happier.

"They both feel like this relationship is something special,” an insider told British magazine Grazia. “Now they've found each other they can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together."
