We know they go crazy for Halloween in the States -- and even Tinseltown is not exempt from the spooky madness.
From Paris Hilton’s private Halloween party to rapper Tyga and Kylie Jenner’s intimate ‘Dead Dinner’, it seems even the stars were keen to play dress up. Some of them were so good, in fact, that we had a hard time recognising them at all! Here are some of the best:
1. Bette Middler
This legendary actress stirred up childhood memories by bringing out her iconic Hocus Pocus character Winifred Sanderson's costume, 23 years after the movie first hit our screens.

2. Kylie Jenner
Nope, that's not a #TBT picture of Christina Aguilera! It's actually the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan rocking an epic recreation of the singer's 'Dirrty' music video ensemble, circa 2002.
3. The Carters
What would a Halloween party be without the Carters? Yes, Beyonce, Jay and Blue joined the spooky festivities dressed as girl rap group Salt-N-Pepa.

4. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry was unrecognisable as she dressed up as US Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton -- and her beau Orlando Bloom completed the look, sporting a spot-on Trump costume.

5. Nina Dobrev
The Vampire Diaries star had two Halloween costumes -- and both were very cheeky!
The actress dressed up controversial American Olympian swimmer Ryan Lochte, complete with gold medals, spandex and his infamous bleached hairdo! Next, she and a gal pal transformed into Leonardo DiCaprio's award-winning character from The Revanant, and it was pure gold!

Pretty in purple! For a futuristic alien, Leona looked gorgeous at Just Jared's annual Halloween party in full-body paint and crazy silver get-up.

The Scream Queens starlet lived up to her hit TV series' spooky rep with a shocking skeleton costume -- and blazer. Clearly she meant business.
10. Amy Schumer
Laugh-a-minute Amy and her boyfriend Ben Hanish dressed up as Dustin and Eleven from the spooky Netflix series Stranger things. Great legs, Ben!
11. Jenna Dewan Tatum
Did Jenna just win Halloween? Channing Tatum's gorgeous wife dressed up as a magical unicorn -- complete with sparkles, rainbow hair and her very own horn!
