Celeb Junkie blog: Time to grow up, Biebs!

If you haven’t heard yet, the 19-year-old is in serious trouble with the cops after he was caught speeding – again – around his gated Calabasas community in Los Angeles.

Apparently the petulant pop star was totally oblivious to the kids in the streets as he roared around in his brand-new Ferrari. But he didn’t count on the wrath of one neighbour, former American football star Keyshawn Johnson (40).

The dad of four chased down his puny prey in his modest Prius hybrid but when he finally got to confronting him, just as the Biebs got home, the singer refused to come out of his house. And who could blame him really?

He weighs, what, all of about 60 kg while Keyshawn is a strapping athlete who probably tips the scales at 120 kg or more. But big up to Mr Johnson for taking a stand though. If we were him we’d have waited for Biebs to show his face and then tossed him into a bedroom for a good time-out session.

Because frankly, isn’t that what he needs? Some good old-fashioned parental discipline because technically he’s still a teenager after all. But clearly this is a problem because mom Pattie is to some degree on his payroll (as his quasi manager or something) so this would complicate things, and dad, well, he’s off in Canada raising kids with another woman.

Now Justin is reacting like a typical wronged teen, saying it wasn’t him driving, it was his friend Tyler The Creator (what kind of a name is that, anyway?!). Oh grow up, Justin!
