Chevrolet Captiva 2.4 LT AWD

accreditation

Rating: 3/5

We used to love the budget-beating Captiva.

A recent facelift saw the addition of a more aggressive nose, but the interior feels like a time machine with a radio straight from the ’80s.

The engine is underpowered but worse is the manual gearshift – it’s vague and requires the strength of a javelin thrower to shift the lever.

Despite its name the Captiva isn’t all that captivating any more.
