Chrissy Teigen shuts down 'mommy-shaming' South African Twitter troll in expletive-laden rant

Model turned TV presenter Chrissy Teigen is probably the reigning queen of social media clap-backs.

And the feisty 30-year-old was taking no prisoners in a spat with a South African Twitter user who accused her of holding her baby “incorrectly”.

“This is not how a baby is held,” @uvuyoh tweeted at Chrissy, along with a recent photo of the star carrying her seven-month-old daughter, Luna, while out and about with husband John Legend in New York City.

Not one to take the high road with social media trolls, within hours Chrissy responded: “Really because that’s how I’m f--king holding her.”

Uvuyoh, whose current Twitter name is #FeesMustFall, hit back with: “I don’t give a crap where that baby popped out from! Do not hold a baby like a handbag!”

To which Chrissy scathingly responded: “Well you hold your handbag like a f**king idiot then.”

“Nothing grinds my tits like a person holding a baby inappropriately! I almost grew up deformed coz I dislocated my arm for 2 days as a baby!” responded the clearly incensed local Twitter user.

The Lip Sync Battle presenter then proceeded to shut the entire social media spat down by explaining that things are slightly different for her than for the average mom and coined the genius term “mommy shamers.”

“Let me know how you hold your baby when she’s about (to get) into a stroller and there are 20 camera flashes at night,” she tweeted. “Photos are literally split-second moments in time that evolve. I despise mommy shamers. I am a proud shamer of mommy shamers.” She concluded her rant by telling the follower that perhaps their mom should have done more research on how to properly hold her baby and asking her to “Please, do shut up”. While Chrissy eventually stopped replying, @uVuyo still had plenty to say:

Chrissy, who defended her friend Kim Kardashian after social media users made light of her robbery ordeal, has previously spoken out about the negative effects of social media.

The star finally turned her Twitter account private earlier this month and now approves who can and can’t see her posts - which in the past have covered every topic from Donald Trump to sending nude pictures to her husband.

UK Website Daily Mail reports that after the switch Chrissy tweeted that when it came to social media trolls she was "not strong enough anymore.”

"It's not haters or trolls or generally mean people. I just feel like I am absorbing bad sh*t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore,” she reportedly added in a second private tweet.
