Cory Monteith was planning to move in with girlfriend Lea Michele before his death.
The Glee hunk (31) was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, but prior to his sudden death he was reportedly making arrangements to move in to his co-star's Los Angeles home, although the couple ? who’d been dating for more than a year ? were not talking about marriage.
An insider told Us Weekly, "Lea and Cory were planning on moving in together after he got back from Vancouver.
"[Lea and Cory] weren't talking engagement or marriage yet but it was heading that way. The first step was Cory was going to move in [to Lea's LA home] completely. He was already there all the time."
Cory and Lea (26) ? who’s said to be "devastated beyond belief" about her boyfriend's death ? were said to have been more in love than ever just before he died and were planning a happy future together.
The source added, "They were 100 per cent happy and together and in love at the time of his death. They never broke up."
An autopsy will be carried out on Cory's body to determine how he died but police have ruled out foul play.
According to E!, the results are to be fast-tracked "due to intense public interest".
Cory ? who played Finn Hudson in musical drama show Glee ? voluntarily checked into rehab for a month in March to battle drug addiction and was released in April.
Maureen Webb, Cory's acting mentor, has told how the star looked "so good" and "so healthy" just two days before he was found dead.
