Criminal escapes from Palm Ridge Court

Lungisani Innocent Mdlolo was due to be sentenced after he was convicted of murder, three rapes, five armed robberies, 10 housebreakings, and possession of an unlicensed firearm, Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini said.

"All the circumstances surrounding his escape from the court cells are still being investigated," Dlamini said in a statement.

Anyone who helped him would face face criminal charges.

"Members of the public are warned not to confront him as he is considered very dangerous and he might be armed," said Dlamini.
