Dave Matthews is coming home


Another overseas act is set to grace SA shores!

Big Concerts announced today the Dave Matthews Band will perform in Cape Town on 30 November at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, and in Johannesburg on 3 December at the Coca-Cola Dome.

While front man Dave Matthews is Johannesburg-born and went to St Stithians College until his move to New York in 1986, he’s never performed in SA.

The US-based rock band, famous for hits like What Would You Say and more recently American Baby, have sold 37 million CDs and DVDs and more than 18 million tickets since they formed in 1991.

The band will share the stage with local legend Vusi Mahlasela.
