David Beckham doesn’t want anyone bossing his daughter, Harper, around.
The retired soccer star ? who also has sons Brooklyn (14), Romeo (10) and Cruz (8) with wife Victoria ? doesn’t want anyone else to tell his two-year-old tot what to do, and would consider turning to soccer coaching to teach her the sport himself.
He told The Times newspaper, "Management has never interested me at all, I must admit. In five or 10 years I might turn around and say, 'I actually fancy management,’ but I don't think that's ever going to happen. I enjoy other stuff more.
"I'd love to coach my daughter. That's the only management side I would take up because I wouldn't want anyone else telling her what to do!"
David thinks parenting takes a combination of being tough on children while showing some affection at the same time.
He added, "It's important to be exposed to that toughness. I'm like [that] with my boys. You have to say, 'No! Daddy has been around a lot longer than you and I'm right.' Sometimes with children you have to have that tough side. But you also have that side where you put your arm around them and they respond to that."
