Dead woman wakes up at her funeral

A 101-year-old woman stunned mourners when she sat up in her coffin and started speaking.

Peng Xiuhua was declared dead after she fell in her home in China and her two daughters, who are in their 70s, couldn't detect a heartbeat and her body went stiff.

But fortunately, she miraculously woke up and the first thing she asked was why there were so many people in her house.

She is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I am a lucky woman. Not only did I get to see how many people care for me, but I also woke up before they took me to the crematorium."
