Step 1 Cleanse your skin of make-up and grime with a face wash. If you have dry skin use a milky or creamy cleanser. If your skin is oily choose a foaming face wash.
Step 2 Fill a wash basin with warm water and a bag of herbal tea such as camomile or a couple of drops of essential oils – lavender is lovely. Hold your face about 30 cm away from it for about 10 minutes. Alternatively wet a towel with the warm water, wring it out and place it on your face until the towel has cooled. Repeat the process for better results. The heat helps to open your pores.
Step 3 Exfoliate by rubbing a gentle scrub on your face in a circular motion. Concentrate on the T-zone that runs across your forehead and down your nose and chin. This area is usually the oiliest and most prone to clogged pores. Avoid the eye area. Rinse.
Step 4 Pour toner onto cotton pads and gently rub over your face and neck, avoiding the area around the eyes. Give your skin a minute to dry before moving to the next step.
Step 5 Apply a mask to your face and neck by generously coating the skin with the product. Place cucumber slices over your eyes. Cucumber hydrates the skin, reduces any redness or puffiness and feels soothing. Lie back and relax for 10 minutes. Remove the mask with a warm, damp towel.
Step 6 Apply daily moisturiser to the deeply cleansed face and neck and apply eye cream. Your skin might be slightly sensitive so if you’re going into the sun, remember the sunblock
