Drew Barrymore is supposedly enjoying a “warm and authentic” family vacation.
The 39-year-old actress has spent most of the summer on the island of Nantucket with her husband Will Kopelman and their two daughters – Olive (23 months) and Frankie (four months). Drew is purportedly very comfortable with the locals and recently she stopped by the Hospital Thrift Shop to purchase The Velveteen Rabbit, a classic children’s novel written by Margery Williams. "My experience was such that she is warm and authentic," store manager Catherine Velez told People magazine of her interaction with the star. "We get a lot of celebs on Nantucket, and I think Drew Barrymore might be the most authentically warm and kind celeb I've ever dealt with. And she's respectful. She's quite a lovely person."

Proceeds generated at Hospital Thrift Shop benefits the Nantucket College Hospital.
And according to Catherine, it was clear Drew wanted to contribute to the cause.
“It's great to have support, and any celebrity support is even more wonderful,” the shopkeeper said.
Drew’s summer vacation on the island, which is located off the shores of Massachusetts, is said to be filled with romance.
She and Will were spotted dining out Friday night at The Pearl Restaurant, and it’s claimed the couple was all smiles throughout their casual dinner.
"She looked great," a fellow diner noted. "She knew the entire restaurant staff."
Drew recently wrapped up promotion on her new comedy Blended, which also stars Adam Sandler.
She is currently producing romcom How to Be Single, which reaches theatres in 2016.
