Emma Roberts was arrested and released without charge after a domestic violence incident in Montreal, Canada.
The 22-year-old actress who’s Oscar-winner Julia Roberts' niece ? allegedly got into a physical altercation with her American Horror Story star boyfriend, Evan Peters, that left him with a bloody nose, and was taken into custody in the early hours of 7 July.
Local law enforcement sources told gossip website TMZ.com the couple, who’ve been together for a year, were overheard fighting in their room and someone in their hotel called the police.
The insider said police officers immediately arrested Emma after arriving at the scene and witnessing Evan's bloody nose.
The 26-year-old actor also had a bite mark on his body.
Emma was taken into custody but was released hours later as Evan declined to press charges.
A source close to the actress insists both parties were to blame for the violent incident and were both hitting each other.
The insider claims Emma didn’t bite Evan, and that she was the only one arrested because he had more obvious physical injuries.
