We’ve been hard at work preparing a hot new interactive tool for our first issue of the year. And now it’s here – in future you will be able to watch videos or download wallpaper simply by scanning or taking a picture of a barcode-like tag printed in the magazine.
There are various tags throughout this magazine and all you have to do is snap or scan it with your cellphone camera to access extra content such as videos.
If you scan the tag at the end of our article on our Lee-Ann Liebenberg, for example, our lovely cover star will be chatting to you from the page!
In our teen feature the tag leads you to the video of Taylor Swift’s first single off her hot new album and on Pressplay there’s a tag for a video of Die Heuwels Fantasies’ Our Heritage.
By snapping or scanning the tags you’ll get more than videos – we will occasionally also have wallpapers and screensavers for downloading to your cellphone.
This technology has been used only once before in South Africa, in a brand extension of our sister magazine Huisgenoot, so we’ve compiled the easy-to-understand tutorial to get you started on accessing our exciting interactive content.
