Haylie Duff is to become a mother for the first time, it has been confirmed.
The 29-year-old’s rep announced her pregnancy on Tuesday to E! Online. The older sister of singer and actress Hilary Duff is expecting her baby with fiancé Matt Rosenberg.
The couple got engaged in April and while they are yet to directly acknowledge their latest happy news on social media, the parents-to-be did have something to celebrate at the end of last month.
“Happy Anniversary to the greatest man I know. I'm lucky to be yours. @mr_sts” Haylie wrote alongside an Instagram shot of them together on an exotic beach.

One person who couldn’t wait to share their excitement at the news was little sister Hilary. The 27-year-old mom-of-one took to Twitter to congratulate her sibling and share her joy with her fans. “GUYS I'm going 2 be an auntie@haylieduff & @matt_sts are going to be the best parents to a sweet baby &luc will have a partner in crime” she wrote, throwing in some cute emoji’s of babies and hearts as well.

The former Lizzie McGuire actress is happy to let her child spend lots of quality time with her sister and Haylie regularly posts photos of what she gets up to with her nephew.
“Baking #Thanksgiving cookies with my favorite little man!” she captioned a photograph on Thursday.

Whether her wedding plans are going to go on hold is yet to be seen. But Haylie previously revealed her nuptials will be one big party.
“We want it to be something that everyone has a good time at, and if your feet hurt in your heels … take them off!” she told People Magazine. “We're going to keep it easy and fun."
