Henri van Breda and girlfriend are all smiles in loved-up beach photo

Tomorrow, Henri van Breda (21) makes his appearance in the Cape High Court on the charge of the triple murder of his family.

While out on bail, Henri has been seen at various spots around Cape Town with his friends. He’s also grown a beard and smiles broadly when spotted out and about with Daniellé, his girlfriend of the past few months.

Daniellé Janse van Rensburg (20) regularly shares photographs of her and her former engineering student boyfriend, Henri, on Facebook.

Alleged axe murder Herni stands accused of murdering his father Martin (54), mom Teresa (56) and his brother Rudi (22) on the evening of 26 January 2015 in their home with an axe or similar sharp object.

He is also accused of attacking his sister, Marli (17), with an axe but she survived the attack.

On 13 June, Henri turned himself in at the Stellenbosch police station after police informed him he was going to be arrested.

He appeared the next day at the magistrate court in Stellenbosch on three charges of murder, one charge of attempted murder and one charge of defeating the ends of justice.

The court released Henri on bail of R100 000. He appears tomorrow (9 September) for the pre-trial hearing at the high court.

In an exclusive interview with YOU Daniellé said that she believes 100 percent in Henri’s innocence and will stand by him.

She called Henri the love of her life.
