Among the important intellectual questions of the day is what colour these Havaianas actually are. A snap of the offending flip flops was originally shared on Twitter by Falsiane, a Portuguese Twitter account, MailOnline reports, launching a global social media debate.

Much like the infamous Dress, some users are seeing white and gold, others black and blue.
