According to The Sun, the magician, a Poland’s Got Talent semifinalist, had placed three paper bags on the table, one of which concealed a particularly nasty-looking nail.
A video clip of the sketch shows him coaxing Marzena to slam her hand down on one of the bags.

She appears anxious about it at first, even after reportedly having successfully pulled off the gimmick in a pre-show practice run.
Eventually, the magician takes her hand and smashes it down on the middle brown bag hard -- and Marzena shrieks.
Clutching her hand, she staggers backwards, and almost collapses on the floor in pain.
Both the magician and Marzena's co-host seem totally bewildered. Eventually the poor woman is whisked out of camera shot. She did not appear for the rest of the show.
The outlet reports Marzena was rushed off the hospital after the incident, "where doctors determined the injury was superficial, administering antibiotics and a tetanus shot".
