‘I don’t remember hitting any woman’

accreditation

IT’S hard to believe Bongang Matheba would raise a manicured hand to a fellow celeb over a man. The Top Billing presenter denied a Sunday tabloid’s claims that she’d hit 5FM DJ Poppy Ntshongwana while they were in Spanish party capital Ibiza.

“I don't remember hitting any woman in the 26 years I've been on this Earth!!... Have a fab Sunday!!,” she tweeted.

The supposed fight was over Bonang’s boyfriend, DJ Euphonik. Some of the 5FM crew members were in Ibiza and Bonang tagged along with Euphonik. According to Sunday Sun, Bonang and Poppy were not on speaking terms during the Ibiza trip and were not even sitting at the same table.

When Bonang saw Poppy talking to Euphonik, she “went straight for Poppy”, a source told the newspaper. The report says Bonang then dragged Poppy by the hair and pushed her around but DJ Fresh, who is Euphonik’s friend and business partner, intervened and stopped the fight.

DJ Fresh and Euphonik’s Twitter feeds make no mention of the fight. Source: Sunday Sun Newspaper  Share your thoughts:
