'I want Nick Gordon to face criminal charges over my daughter's death': Bobby

Gordon was sued by Bobbi Kristina's court-appointed co-conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, following the 22-year-old's death in July, 2015, and her father joined the lawsuit as a plaintiff in May, 2016.

In their legal papers, her boyfriend Gordon was accused of giving Whitney Houston's only child a "toxic cocktail" of substances which rendered her unconscious on the night of 31 January, 2015, when the aspiring singer and actress was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at her Georgia home.

She was placed in a medically-induced coma and spent almost six months fighting for her life.

Gordon missed two court dates during the legal battle and earlier this month, Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford ruled the allegations made by the plaintiffs against Gordon had been "admitted through omission".

The ruling brought Bobby some peace but the former New Edition star is still processing his emotions and feels he will not be able to fully come to terms with the tragedy until Gordon is held criminally responsible for his daughter's death.

"I know some things that happened to my daughter," he says in an interview with Pastor T.D. Jakes. "I don't know the specifics of what happened, but as the judge has said, he is legally responsible. I know some things that happened to my daughter, but it's up to the D.A. (district attorney) now to do his job."

"The D.A. still hasn't taken out criminal charges on Nick Gordon (sic), and that's what I'm waiting for him to do. That's when I think I will get some closure," he adds. "Just knowing that he's legally responsible for my daughter's death has given me a bit of calmness to waiting for the D.A. There's a lot of strange things that will come out in the criminal charges against Nick."

And he insists he always knew Nick was responsible because his daughter had a morbid fear of bathtubs after her mother drowned in one after suffering a heart attack, and would never have willingly stepped into one: "My daughter was afraid of tubs because of what happened to her mom. So I know she wouldn't have gotten in the tub," he adds.

"I mean it's crazy because the tub wasn't even full of water."
