She can't believe the year is coming to an end – but the end of her studies is not the only major life event looming for our former Miss World!

Dressed in her blue hospital scrubs, doctor and mom-to-be Rolene Strauss showed off her growing bump in an Instagram post on Tuesday. "That moment you realize the year, slowly but surely, has to come to an end because you won't fit into your scrubs much longer...?? #Medicine #AlmostExams #StudyStudyStudy," she captioned the selfie.

The Mpumalanga-born beauty, who's currently studying medicine at the University of the Free State, previously told YOU how the timing of their baby’s arrival works perfectly for her and her businessman husband, D’Niel Strauss.

“It works out so nicely that the baby is due between December and New Year – just after my fourth year is done and before my final year starts.”

“We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future,” Rolene recently posted on her Facebook page.

Rolene often posts on social media about how blessed she feels about the bundle of joy that's on its way.

“What a privilege to have a small miracle-person growing inside you. I pray for health, wisdom and an endless life to raise this little one to the best of our ability. I am grateful to have a one-in-a-million teammate and husband walking this path with me.”

She lives a healthy lifestyle and still exercises regularly. “This baby is already a part of the 5 am club,” she recently wrote alongside a picture posted to Instagram. “Up early every morning for a workout to start our day right.”
