If you have to work

11h10 – Prince William and his younger brother Harry will arrive at Westminster Abbey.

12h00 – Kate Middleton arrives at Westminster Abbey, and the world will get its first look at her dress, which is the wedding’s best kept secret.

Their first kiss is expected to happen anytime after the exchange of vows, but should take place within 15 minutes of the start of the ceremony.

While the newly married Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge sign their wedding register, The Royal Airforce Trumpeters will play a 30 second tune,  “Valiant and Brave.” This was composed especially for the wedding and is based on the motto of Prince William’s airforce wing.

12h45 – Placing of the bouquet. Kate is expected to participate in the Royal tradition of placing her royal bouquet at the entrance of the tomb of The Unknown Warrior, inside the abbey. This tradition was started by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1923, and has been followed by all other royal brides who’ve married in the abbey since then.

13h15 – The carriage ride to Buckingham Palace. There is still a question mark hanging over whether the royal couple will be ferried from the abbey to the reception at the palace in the 1902 State Landau, or whether threatening rain will force organisers to use the Glass Coach, dating back to 1881.

14h25 – The BIG balcony kiss. This is the moment the world has watched during every royal wedding, dating back to the 1800’s. Prince William and Kate will lock lips on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, their first kiss in public.

14h30 – Royal Ariforce bly-by over Buckingham palace.
