The 22-year-old supermodel has starred in numerous high-profile fashion campaigns with brands like Burberry, Chanel, Givenchy, Lanvin, Oscar de la Renta and countless others.
But Cara is making a fast transition into film and is currently promoting her new movie Paper Towns, a forthcoming adventure mystery the blonde stunner acts in alongside Nat Wolff.
'I’m not a model. That was me acting'
And while speaking to MTV’s Red Carpet Report hosts Nicole Byer and Rachel Antonoff, Cara joked she is leaving fashion behind for good.
“I’m not a model. That was me acting,” she laughed.
Cara also noted she was amused by the “constant screaming” happening in the background at the awards ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles Sunday night at the Nokia Theatre. She even joined in the fun by hooting out a few “woots” with the crowd.
The jokes didn’t stop there, because when presenter Nicole asked Cara how many tattoos she had, the superstar replied: “I don’t know. I’d say a lot. Wouldn’t you like to know?
I have your name on my a*s.”
A preview clip of Cara and co-star Nat’s forthcoming movie Paper Towns was shown exclusively for the first time during the 2015 MTV Movie Awards pre-show. In the promo, Cara is seen speaking in character as Margo Roth Spiegelman with a clear American accent while she and Nat’s persona Q sneak into someone’s home in the middle of the night with the intention of pulling a prank.
Paper Towns is due to be released in American theatres on July 24.
