What should’ve been a relaxing matric holiday in the Western Cape town of Plettenberg Bay may have turned ugly for one of the daughters of murder suspect Jason Rohde.
The Afrikaans news site Netwerk24 reports the 18-year-old old daughter of the embattled CEO of Sotherby’s International Realty SA was admitted to hospital over the weekend. A reliable source told the site she was hospitalized after an apparent drug overdose.

Kate (18) had just finished matric before going on holiday. She attended a school in Johannesburg.
Her father is currently being accused of murdering his wife, Susan, after it was initially thought that she had taken her own life.

Susan was found dead in the bathroom of the hotel she and Jason was staying at on the Spier wine estate outside Stellenbosch in July this year.
Jason has since been released on bail and will appear in court again in January.
