Jessica Alba thinks her little girls are “growing up too fast”. The Fantastic Four actress has two daughters, Honor Marie, six, and Haven Garner, three, with husband Cash Warren. And while the 33-year-old juggles her acting career with her business, The Honest Company, she makes sure she still gets plenty of time with her offspring.
'Being a mom is] my priority. I feel like they’re growing up too fast, and I want to freeze them in time'
“[Being a mom is] my priority. I feel like they’re growing up too fast, and I want to freeze them in time,” she told People magazine. “I don’t think that’s going to happen because every day they’re just getting taller and sometimes more sassy.”
Jessica admits finding total balance as a working mom is “impossible”. But despite the fact her girls are growing up before her very eyes, there is one thing that little Haven won’t give up and Jessica is happy to indulge her.
“Oh my God, she loves her crib,” she revealed. “She wants sleepovers because her sister has sleepovers so I try to do sleepovers with Mom. She says, ‘Okay Mommy, I’m done. I need to go back to my crib now.’ She’s so restless — she wants to talk so she’s super into her crib. It’s really cute and I’m like, ‘Yes, stay a baby forever.’”
Jessica runs her home alongside her nearly billion-dollar business. She told the publication it’s a “24/7” job and she actually treats her movie making as a form of escapism.
“Movies don’t make sense — playing a random character that is completely make-believe … mentally balances out all of that structure that I’m [still getting] used to in business,” she said.
