The actress has sparked rumours the she and her husband Justin Timberlake are expecting after she was snapped with what looked like a little baby bump. And now a source claims the pair are definitely starting a family.
'Jessica has had tense times in the past when it comes to having a baby'
“Jessica is at least three months pregnant,” an insider divulged to RadarOnline. “And she’s due in April!”
The gossip started over the weekend, when photos of the star and a friend on a shopping trip made their way online. In the pictures, Jessica is wearing a loose shirt with lower buttons unfastened to show what appears to be a rounded stomach. However, a scarf obscured most of her upper half.
It would be the first child for the 32-year-old and Justin, 33, though another insider hinted this wasn't the first time the couple had tried to get pregnant.
“Jessica has had tense times in the past when it comes to having a baby, so it is not surprising that she is staying mum on confirming the news publicly yet,” another source claimed.
While they might not have any little ones yet, Jessica has played a mom onscreen in the past. She spoke out about her role in Playing for Keeps, saying she found the process interesting.
“Well, I had to understand the connection between a mother and their child, number one, which... I don't have kids, so that, for me, was a real interesting challenge,” she explained to Buzzine.com.
“And Gabriele [Muccino, director] was always talking to me about, like, ‘No, mothers and their children; it's an intense passion. Like, you don't let anyone mess with your kid.’ And that's kind of what he had to constantly talk me through because I was a little... I think my initial instinct was to be a little bit gentler to the George character about everything, and he was saying, ‘No, you are protective. You're like a mother bear trying to protect your cub.’”
