When NomsaMncora was a little girl all she dreamt about was having the perfect family: a doting husband, loving children and a house she could make a home.

And for 19 blissful years she lived that fairytale life. It didn’t matter to her she wasn’t married to her partner, the father of her two boys – all that counted was their happiness.

But in 2007 Nomsa’s perfect existence was shattered when her partner of almost two decades left her for another woman.
