Jennifer Lawrence reportedly wants to look like a cool “girlfriend of a rock god”. The 24-year-old Hunger Games star has been rumoured to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for weeks now, following his split from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow earlier this year.

'She really wants to look cool as the girlfriend of a rock god'

The actress is known for her modest and classy wardrobe, but is said to be updating her image to fit into the live music scene.

“She really wants to look cool as the girlfriend of a rock god,” an insider told the American edition of OK! Magazine.

Jennifer previously dated fellow actor Nicholas Hoult after starring alongside him in the X-Men franchise. This new relationship, however, will see her immersed in a whole new lifestyle involving concerts and tours.

“She’s totally into the whole scene and loving her new life as the leading lady of a music legend,” the source continued.

On account of this, the Oscar winner reportedly wants to make sure she looks good. According to the whispers, Jennifer is eager to get rid of her “gawky image” and replace it with something more alternative.

“[She] and has splashed out on a whole range of new edgy T-shirts and jeans so she looks the part backstage when Chris is performing,” the insider told the magazine.

This comes just weeks after Jennifer was among those who fell victim to a nude photo leak. Explicit images of her were released on the internet by a hacker on August 31, in what the star slammed as a “sex crime” in a recent Vanity Fair interview.

Now she is trying to move on from the incident, and breezing into the rock star way of life is attributable to this.

“It’s all part of her ‘I don’t care’ approach to life since the humiliation of her nude picture leaks,” the source concluded.
