Jennifer Lawrence says Liam Hemsworth changed her life. The stars appear alongside each other in The Hunger Games franchise and have grown close off set, too. She denies rumours of a romance but does acknowledge that the gorgeous Australian actor has been good for her.
'He changed my life. That was very important for me and my personal development'
"He changed my life. That was very important for me and my personal development," she smiled to German magazine Bravo.
In The Hunger Games, 24-year-old Jennifer plays Katniss Everdeen, who is stuck in a love triangle with Liam's Gale Hawthorne and Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark.
Lucky Jennifer even shares a kiss with Liam in the movies - but unlike many of his fans, puckering up with the Australian hunk left her cold.
"To be honest, I didn't even think about it. I ate a mustard sandwich with onions beforehand!" she laughed.
Some might question how the Oscar winner can be so close to someone so good looking without feeling anything. It's something even she is a little surprised about.
"It really IS possible," she smiled. "Liam is the most wonderful, kind, sweet, funny guy in the world."
She added the star taught her how to act fairly in situations, as he's so nice to everyone. But he also toughened her up a little, showing her how to stick up for herself and negotiate.
"It's my biggest weakness: negotiating. I'm a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair. He's always on time, he's always doing his job, and he's good about making sure that things stay fair. He's teaching me to toughen up a little bit," she recently told Nylon.
