J.Lo to top Brit’s Vegas residency?

accreditation

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in talks for a Las Vegas residency. The 45-year-old singer released her eighth album, A.K.A., earlier this year, which features collaborations from the likes of Iggy Azalea and Nas. She is currently busy promoting her new music and it seems Jennifer may have no time to rest if things go well.

'Britney is said to be making R3,3 million ($310 000) per show, whereas Jennifer is reportedly being offered R3,8 million ($350 000) per concert'

TMZ claims she is in the final stages of making a deal to perform in Sin City, being offered The Axis at Planet Hollywood hotel. This is the same venue Britney Spears is currently putting on her A Piece of Me show, but the outlet suggests Jennifer would be raking in more than her fellow pop star if she were to agree to a contract.

Britney is said to be making R3,3 million ($310 000) per show, whereas Jennifer is reportedly being offered R3,8 million ($350 000) per concert.

Britney is scheduled to put on 96 shows over two years, while the Booty singer would do 72 shows, three times a week for 24 weeks, over a one or two-year period, which would mean Britney is still making more cash. It is still unclear what the final contract would be, if signed.

Neither of them would top singing sensation Celine Dion's residency though, who, for 70 shows a year, reportedly earns R584 million (£33 320 000).

It wouldn't be a surprise if the deal went through, as it was recently reported that Jennifer has purchased a luxury penthouse in Madison Square Park, New York, which costs around $22 million. She would be neighbours to big names such as Chelsea Clinton and NASCAR's Jeff Gordon if she is to move into the home, which boasts four bedrooms and six bathrooms.
