Jordan’s crown prince is setting hearts aflutter all over the world

Move over Prince Harry – there’s a new royal heartthrob on the block. And the good news is he’s single!

Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, more commonly known as Prince Hussein, is Jordan’s crown prince and the eldest of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s four children.

The 22-year-old isn’t just popular in his home country, he’s also setting pulses racing on Instagram, where he has more than 802 000 followers and counting.

The handsome young man loves sharing pics of himself and his fans can’t get enough. Some declare their love for him, while others baldly ask him to marry them. Not surprising, as he’s certainly a catch.

Not just a pretty face either, Hussein also has a degree in international history from the University of Georgetown in Washington DC in the US. He loves reading and playing sports – especially soccer.

He’s a first lieutenant in Jordan’s armed forces and last year and last year became the youngest person ever to chair a meeting of the United Nations Security Council.

At the time Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary General, said of him, “He’s not yet 21 years old, but he’s already a leader in the 21st Century.”

But who exactly is Jordan’s future leader who’s driving young girls to poetry? 5 things worth knowing about the sexy royal:

1 He loves motorbikes – just like his dad. He regularly shares pictures of himself taking to the open road on bike.

2 He doesn’t shy away from fulfilling his royal duties. His popularity is evident – his subjects even queue to take selfies with him.

3 He’s a real-life action hero: he has military training, is an adrenaline junkie, jumps from airplanes… What more could a girl want?

4 Hussein has two younger sisters, Princess Iman (19) and Princess Salma (15), as well as a younger brother, Prince Hashem (11). He often shares pics of his family on Instagram. Not only did he inherit his mom’s gorgeous genes, mother and son regularly go to gym together.

5 He’s an adventurous soul, loves being in nature, can play the guitar – and even likes to cook! Be still our beating hearts.
