Jude Law’s ex ‘delighted to be pregnant’

Jude Law’s ex-girlfriend Cat Cavelli is apparently “delighted” that she is pregnant.

Yesterday the 41-year-old actor announced he will become a father for the fifth time when the 23-year-old singer, also known as Catherine Harding, gives birth. The Sherlock Holmes star only has four months to wait until their baby’s arrival and is determined to make it work in spite of the odds, according to British newspaper The Mirror. “She is around five months pregnant but she and Jude are no longer together,” a source revealed to the publication.

However, this will not stop the heartthrob from being present in the child’s life. He is apparently eager to make sure that his relationship with Cat has no impact on parenthood.

“They are both determined to be good parents to the little baby when he or she is born early next year,” the source went on.

It seems that a relationship and subsequent pregnancy was not exactly planned by the pair. According to the publication, things happened at high speed.

“It all happened very quickly,” it was revealed. “They met a little while ago and fell for one another, then Cat told friends that she was going out to Prague, that's when it emerged that she was in a relationship with Jude.”

Jude is already a father to his and his ex-wife Sadie Frost’s children Rafferty, Rudy and Iris and he has a daughter called Sophia following a brief relationship with model Samantha Burke. It is claimed that he intends on being a good father to his latest addition too.

“Sadly they are no longer a couple but that they are both so determined that the baby will be loved very much by both his or her parents,” the source said.

The source also gave some insight as to how Jude “fell for” Cat. The singer is a brunette beauty and apparently makes heads turn.

“It is easy to see why Jude fell for Cat, she is beautiful, she is the person who when she walks in a room you just think, 'Wow, look at her,’” the insider concluded.
