Britain might be experiencing a scorching summer but something else has been sending the population’s temperature rocketing – and the feverishness is all about a tiny bundle the world had been waiting to welcome since December. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s long-awaited firstborn finally arrived at 4.24 pm on 22 July – a bouncing baby boy weighing in at a robust 3,8 kg. Kate had hoped for a natural birth and she got one – even if it was way past the baby’s expected date.
